Vol. 23. No. 1-2, 2026:

Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly

Physical activity and intellectual development, sports and education have been inseparable for millennia. This issue seeks to examine this mutually reinforcing connection, featuring articles that range from theoretical to more practical approaches. The examination and analysis of faith, spirituality, religion, motivation, and mental processes find a place in our pages just as much as the educational aspects of women's soccer, recreational cycling, or roller skating. Our authors raise interesting and timely questions regarding the relationship between the community-building significance of sports activities and social media consumption. Elementary and secondary school teachers can draw direct practical benefits from the article on water tourism, while the case study based on the "Pompás Napok" method may be of particular interest to preschool teachers. The introduction of the Reformed Student Sports Association (RIDISZ) is of particular interest to teachers in the Reformed public education system. Beyond articles directly related to sports pedagogy, we continue to keep an eye on "our own backyard": current developments in Reformed public education and teacher training. Thus, this issue features a short workshop study on teacher training as a form of professional socialization and on the development of equitable education, as well as a report on our conference addressing the education of children with special needs.
